PASCAL POYET

Pascal Poyet est un auteur français né en 1970. Après un cursus à l'école des Beaux-Arts de Grenoble, il se consacre à l'écriture. Sa bibliographie comporte plus d'une dizaine de titres. Il a notamment publié Linéature (2011), Un sens facétieux (2012), ou encore Causes cavalières (2000). Il a également traduit plusieurs ouvrages, dont les livres Je n'ai jamais su quelle heure il était (2008) et Accorder de David Antin, ou encore Cinéma du présent (2015) de Lisa Robertson, parmi d'autres textes d'écrivains et artistes de langue anglaise ou allemande publiés aux éditions contrat maint qu'il a cofondées avec l'artiste Françoise Goria en 1998. Aujourd'hui, Pascal Poyet réalise fréquemment des lectures publiques, qui portent une réflexion sur le langage et la traduction. Il est actuellement engagé dans la traduction « mais » des Sonnets de Shakespeare.

Pascal Poyet is a French author born in 1970. After a degree at the Beaux-Arts school in Grenoble, he dedicated himself to the field of writing. His bibliography includes more than ten titles. He has notably published Linéature (2011), Un sens facétieux (2012), and Causes Cavalières (2000). He has also translated several books, including David Antin's Je n'ai jamais su quelle heure il était (2008) and Accorder, and Lisa Robertson's Cinéma du présent (2015), among many other texts of English and German-language writers and artists published in contrat maint editions that he co-founded with the artist Françoise Goria in 1998. Today, Pascal Poyet frequently conducts public readings, which reflect on language and translation. He is currently engaged in the translation "mais" of Shakespeare's Sonnets.
